Body found in hunt for missing pensioner from Warsash

Ross Bunney, 66, had last been seen around 5.45pm on Thursday, and police said that they and his family were ‘extremely concerned for his welfare.’

Mr Bunney’s next of kin have been informed, however formal identification procedures are still ongoing.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

An appeal for help was issued by the police on Friday morning.
