A POST office in Waltham Chase has reopened in a new location, offering long opening hours to residents.

The post office previously had operated from the Pemier in Winchester Road until it closed in June, 2021.

Now the branch is running from its new home in Waltham Chase Village Stores in 1 Winchester Road.

It’s reopening restores the post office service that will be open 60 hours every week.

The branch is open between Monday and Saturday, from 8am to 6pm.

Graham Brander, Post Office Network provision lead, said: ‘We are delighted to have restored a Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a

community. The long opening hours will make it very handy to visit.’

The new premises also features a car park for customers.

With over 11,500 branches, the Post Office has the biggest retail network in the UK, with more branches than all the banks and building societies combined.
