IT HAS been reported that Boris Johnson's senior adviser Dominic Cummings is expected to leave his Downing Street position by the end of the year.

There were calls for Mr Cummings to resign earlier this year after he was found to have broken Covid regulations by travelling to a second property in County Durham during lockdown restrictions while experiencing symptoms of coronavirus.

To save his position, Mr Cummings was forced to host his own national press conference to apologise for and explain his actions.

Mr Cummings himself also commented that his "position hasn't changed since my January blog" when he said that he wanted to make himself "largely redundant" by the end of 2020.
