A crash involving two vehicles caused hold-ups on the M27 earlier this morning.
The accident happened in the westbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9 at around 7.50am.
Two lanes of the carriageway were blocked as a result of the crash, causing queues to quickly build up back to Fareham.
A total of four fire engines from Cosham, Hightown and Redbridge fire stations were called to the scene.
However, nobody was trapped in their vehicles, and crews were only required to carry out basic first aid treatment at the site of the crash.
Romanse officials say all lanes are now open but have warned drivers to expect delays of up to 30 minutes before congestion eases.
