A dispersal order has been placed in a town centre after a spate of anti-social behaviour.

The order in place will cover Havant town centre and includes streets such as Park Road North, Elm Lane and Market Parade, as well as Havant Park and the train station.

It is part of Operation Syren launched by Hampshire Constabulary to combat anti-social behaviour in the town.

The order means that any person who the police believe may commit anti-social behaviour must leave the designated area.

If they return, they could be arrested.

Havant police put out a Tweet at 11.28pm on Thursday night saying the dispersal order will be in place for the next 48 hours.
