CURIOUS schoolpupils quizzed their MP on Donald Trump, Brexit and whether or not she was important during a special visit last Friday.

Portsmouth South MP Flick Drummond visited Cottage Grove School in Chivers Close, Southsea, where she gave children the chance to press her on political issues.

She told them about life at Westminster, how her day is organised and the Article 50 vote.

Flick said of the visit: ‘The interest and sheer breadth of knowledge of these pupils was extremely impressive and I was told they have set up a debating society and school council.’

Following the ‘insightful’ session, Flick invited the school up to Westminister for a visit.
