Children at Langstone Junior School in Baffins showed their support for Blue Day by dressing in blue and holding a blue-themed bake sale after school.

Children at Langstone Junior School in Baffins showed their support for Blue Day by dressing in blue and holding a blue-themed bake sale after school.

The School Council organised the day’s events and the school has already raised their target of £200 towards the Tom Prince Cancer Trust. They hope to raise even more after the bake sale.

Lisa Howard, leader of the School Council, said: “We really wanted to help the charity achieve their target of one million pounds this year, so every little helps.”

The charity is close to the school’s heart as Tom Prince’s mother used to work there.
