GOSPORT Borough Football Club have been served with a winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs for the second time in just over three months.

As reported by The News, the club - who are chaired by Councillor Mark Hook, leader of Gosport Borough Council - also faced similar action in July before it was ousted one month later.

Gosport Borough FC’s petition will be heard in London on November 21.

Mr Hook refused to comment on the current situation.
