Gary Roberts has been shortlisted in the September battle for the Sky Bet EFL goal-of-the-month award.

The Pompey attacker’s brilliant turn and finish against Barnet has been nominated for the League Two gong.

His strike is in the running for the title with Accrington Stanley’s Paddy Lacey and Colin Daniel, of Yeovil Town.
