Excitement builds for Oasis-inspired night at Wedgewood Rooms Portsmouth
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The idea for the night was after the Oasis reunion announcement which has sparked an ever increasing, resurgence of all things Britpop. Again lads and lasses can be seen in Adidas trainers and tracksuit tops from the likes of Tacchini and Fila.
It was this reunion and hearing that the brilliant Rowans Hospice was in need of much needed funds to survive that the bands jumped into action.

Hide AdIt was an easy decision really to put on a gig to raise money and where else could it be than at one of Britain's most famous grass root venues m, The Wedgewood Rooms, where Oasis appeared on their first ever tour. The number of famous bands that have played at the Wedge as it's fondly called by regulars is unbelieveable.
The night on Friday, November 15 will feature not just the bands, Brit Pop Revolution, Island City Casual Scene and solo performer Ollie Hutton, but also guest performances from artists including, Amanda Victoria (Fleetwood Collective), Brad Sanders (Supersonics), Gary Smith and Jim Kinlough (Kojaks Revenge and Indie 80s) Helen Spooner (Electric 80s) and members of Rock with the Foxes.
Tickets are just £10 from the Wedgewood Rooms or the link below. It's sure to be one of those legendary Wedgewood nights people talk about for years to come so get on your trainers and Britpop gear and be ready to dance and chant along to anthems all night long
