BBC’s hit drama Sherwood is set to come to a dramatic end.

The crime series starring David Morrissey, Lesley Manville and more, has captured the attention of the nation.

It started airing just over two weeks ago but is now coming to its highly anticipated conclusion.

Set in an ex-mining town in Nottinghamshire, it follows the fall out of a murder in the already fractured community.

It is inspired by a real double murder, but is a fictional story.

What day is Episode 6 airing and start time?

The final episode of Sherwood will air tonight at 9pm.

What channel will it be on BBC One or BBC Two?

Episodes 1-4 of the BBC drama aired on BBC One.

However episode 5, which aired yesterday, was moved to BBC Two at the last minute.

Episode 6 is currently scheduled to air on BBC One at 9pm
