Founder and Portsmouth based businesswoman, Simone Tai, with degree in design and a successful career as a CEO in a Southampton based direct marketing company, founded Mini Moony Pamper Parties to fill a gap in the market for unique, fashion-forward children’s events. Inspired by her own experiences as a mother and her admiration for content creators and entrepreneurs, Simone sought to create an experience that goes beyond typical birthday parties or activities, one that leaves children feeling confident and glamorous.

"My children have always enjoyed events that allowed them to feel special and I love to see the confidence that has come with those experiences," says Simone. "However, I noticed that in our local community there were limited opportunities. I wanted to create something that would enable children and their parents to enjoy a fun-filled, luxurious experience together where kids could feel empowered, have fun, express themselves and share that joy with their friends." She goes on to say, “Our venue also makes party and activity planning easy for parents. They can come along and enjoy the time with their children rather than worrying about the organisation, set up and the inevitable tidying up afterwards!”.

This year Simone has brought her vision to life by founding Mini Moony Pamper Parties. She chose Havant for her business, not only because it is easily accessible to the communities in and around Portsmouth and the south coast, but also because she has found support from her local council and her network of contacts.

“Starting a business is a daunting task, but I have been very lucky with all the help and support I have received from finding and renovating a property to business planning and marketing.”

The enthusiastic response to a recent soft opening solidified the appeal of Mini Moony Pamper Parties for families in the community. The official opening on September 14th will feature a variety of interactive stations, including nail painting, hairstyling, and fun makeup application where children can participate in activities that make them feel glamorous, excited, and empowered.
