Oasis inspired night eagerly anticipated at Portsmouths iconic Wedgewood Rooms

The reunion of Oasis has led to a revival of all things Indie and Brit Pop. This was the inspiration behind the organisers planning an event called, Inspired by Indie at Portsmouths iconic Wedgewood Rooms, which will raise vital money for the Rowans Hospice. The event is on Friday 15th November.

Extremely popular Brit Pop Revolution, Island City, Casual Scene and Ollie Hutton will be gracing the stage at the Wedgewood Rooms (which actually had Oasis play at on their first tour). They will be bringing of course a collection of Oasis songs, but also a vast selection of popular chant along Indie classics from bands as wide ranging as, Stone Roses, James, Pulp, Blur, Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene, Shed 7 and many many more Indie anthems.

There is also an array of guest performers including, Gary Smith and Jim Kinlough (Kojaks Revenge and Indie 80s), Brad Sanders (Supersonics) Helen Spooner, Amanda Victoria (Fleetwood Collective) and members of Rock with the Foxes.

The action starts at 7pm and tickets are only £10 for what promises to be one of those legendary Wedgewood Rooms nights to remember. Ticket link
