The Guide Awards: Best Actor winner, Charlie Frame for Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar

Charlie Frame has made a big impact on the local am-dram scene in the past year.

First of all he took the role of Danny in The Portsmouth Players’ production of Grease before landing the part which won him this award – the title role of the same company’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

‘I'm really proud of what we all achieved with Jesus Christ Superstar. Everyone worked so hard on it.’

Charlie thought he might take a short break before his next show, but he adds: ‘It didn't happen, they convinced me to do the next one, because I've got the bug now...’
