£250m highways project

West Sussex County Council has appointed Skanska to a six-year highways construction framework worth £250m.

Projects carried out through the framework are likely to include large bypass schemes, town centre redevelopments, highway structural improvements, carriageway resurfacing, and drainage improvements.

Skanska operations director Gerry Curran said he was delighted to be supporting West Sussex in the delivery of such a substantial infrastructure investment and hopes to provide significant improvement for road users.
