Based in Fareham, Pentland Plumbing Services were originally established in 1998 by owner and director, Keith Hooper.

Since then the company has come a long way since '˜fixing leaky taps for the neighbours'.'

'˜When I started up it was just me and my Renault Kangoo van doing local door to door jobs. We still do serve the local community but we now do a lot of commercial work for large companies. I have just finished a job for Aerial Phones and we have also carried out work for the likes of Prezzo, BMW and Pret A Manger. We recently had a big job with an oil company in Gravesend,' explained Keith.

After starting out on his own Keith now employs three full time staff and an additional five contracted staff.

For the last three years Pentland Plumbing has developed a working relationship with Portsmouth Football club, carrying  out weekly maintenance and installation work.

'˜I am a big Portsmouth fan and have been a season ticket holder since 1990. The football club is a big part of the community and so I am really proud to have this working relationship with the club. ' said Keith.

To celebrate the landmark birthday, Keith took his employees and clients to enjoy the corporate experience of a match day at Fratton Park.

'˜We were match sponsor for the day and got to experience the full hospitality package. We have sponsored players for a while now and this season we are sponsoring Tom Naylor. The padded seating was much better than my usual plastic seat and we beat Plymouth 3 '“ 0. Everyone really enjoyed the experience,' explained Keith.

In addition to football, superbikes are also one of Keith's passions.

'˜I used to ride superbikes but had to retire in 2008,' said Keith.

'˜We now use our '˜Lucky Plumber' logo to sponsor the superbikes Moto Rapido motorbike team,' added Keith.

Whilst Keith has no current plans to further expand the business he wants to continue to ensure Pentland Plumbing continues to remain a community service.

'˜Whilst we do now get a lot of commercial work we are still striving to help support people in the local community,' stressed Keith.
