Building society helps charities

CHARITIES are being offered a chance to get a Â£100 donation.

From Monday the Yorkshire Building Society branch in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, is taking part in the firm’s Small Change Big Difference Month.

Customers can nominate charities or good causes to win a £100 donation.

They are able to donate the change from their annual interest to the good causes.

Emma Palmer, branch manager, said: ‘Smaller local charities and good causes can often struggle to obtain the funding they need – and they are exactly who we want people in Portsmouth to nominate for the chance to win a donation.

‘Small Change Big Difference Month is our way of giving something back.’
