Business Excellence Awards 2021: Video specialist hopes to shine a spotlight on top international businesses
ONE of the south’s top video specialists is hoping to shine a spotlight on this year’s Business Excellence Awards.
Giant Leap Video, which is based at Lakeside, North Harbour, specialises in all areas of video production, delivering high-end quality content across the south coast and beyond.
The business, which started in 2006, has a solid reputation in Hampshire for delivering a quality, friendly, fun yet professional service with transparency on the myths and questions surrounding the industry.
Bill Moulsdale, managing director, said they were delighted to be involved with the awards, which are set to take place at the Portsmouth Guildhall on July 8.
He said: ‘Giant Leap is proud to be again sponsoring The News Business Excellence Awards and again to be providing all the graphics, live camera feeds and recording the entire event.
‘We never miss one and after the dreadful time that many have had this year it’s only right we should celebrate our success and survival.
‘This is the awards night all companies across the south aspire to be part of. The evening has everything you would expect from a top awards event; glamour, glitz, good food, great people and of course, the Giant Leap team.
‘As a sponsor there as so many categories to chose from but this year we have gone with International Business, why, well in the course of our work we are constantly amazed at the size and quality of the companies operating in the local Portsmouth region, many of whom are highly successful supplying other parts of the World.
‘We noticed they do not always make it known to the local community. This award will offer them a huge boost in local awareness.’
Pat Smith, from lead sponsor the University of Portsmouth, said: ‘It is always a pleasure to work alongside Bill and his team from Giant Leap, who are category sponsors of International Business of the Year.
‘As one of the hardest hit categories, international businesses have not only had to contend with the effects of a global pandemic but with all the uncertainties which surrounded Brexit.’
There’s still time to enter, it’s free to enter and entries close on May 14.
