The firm also sells Recycle Bound – the world’s first recycled driveway solution which helps to combat plastic waste.

The material is made from waste plastic such as straws, drink bottles and food packaging and each square metre consists of the equivalent of 3,000 plastic straws.

If it was laid on a standard 50sq m drive, the equivalent of 150,000 plastic straws would be recycled.

With previous experience running his own businesses, including a property development business, Inder has culminated a wealth of experience in the field.

Inder and Dimple say they are passionate about supporting the local community and are dedicated to creating more work opportunities as well as offering apprenticeships.

Inder said: ‘Dimple and I were so drawn to Oltco and really felt a strong connection to the brand.

‘Spending time with my family is incredibly important to me and I understand the toll commuting to work can have on families which is why I am dedicated to recruiting locally in both of the areas.

‘I am also passionate about helping support young people when choosing their career path and I hope to be able offer multiple apprenticeships.

‘It means a lot to me that I can, in some way, support my local community and use the success of the business to benefit others.’

Tom Stringer, co-director at Oltco, said: ‘We were instantly drawn to Inder, we knew he would fit right in with the Oltco family. His values echo ours, he’s incredibly personable and his ambition and passion is inspiring. His family values really resonated with us.

‘His vision to safeguard the planet, so that his children can live in a clean and safe environment, is one of the reasons why we personally developed Recycle Bound so it’s a perfect match.'
