Cafe launches limited edition '˜I LOVE Gunwharf Quays' compostable takeaway cups

The '˜I LOVE Gunwharf Quays' takeaway cups will be available at Real Eating Company based in the shopping centre with a limited edition sketch of Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower.

The packaging naturally breaks down to nothing which reduces the amount of plastic that ends up in landfill.

'˜We are an independent business, committed to local and independent sourcing as well as a sustainable way of working and we feel that this design and the new environmentally-friendly cups will be welcomed by our customers. We are also very happy to hear that Gunwharf Quays' management are introducing cup specific bins to tackle the issue of disposing waste on the site.'

The limited-edition takeaway cups are available for coffees and from Monday to Friday any takeaway coffee before 12 noon is just £2.00 as part of their ongoing Early Bird promotion aimed at local workers and residents.  The cafe is also partnering with local bakery Bread Addiction, to sell their sticky cinnamon buns.
