Car firm launches new mobile technician service
CUSTOMERS of Hendy Ford in Portsmouth are among the first in the country to be offered a new mobile service.
Stephen Hendy, aftersales director of Hendy Group, said that Ford Transit Servicing had been designed to offer customers servicing, maintenance and warranty work at a customer’s premises.
‘We have Ford technicians operating from mobile Transit vans, which are fitted with all the diagnostic equipment you would expect in a workshop and they carry a range of parts,’ he said.
‘By offering this service, customers are able to fit work around their busy schedules.’
