Chartered accountants merge their services

TWO firms of chartered accountants have announced they will merge on October 1,

Leonard Gold and Jackson Green Carter, in Cumberland Road, Southsea, will operate as Leonard Gold Chartered Accountants from Leonard Gold’s current offices in Landport Terrace, Portsmouth.

Leonard Gold began its professional practice in the 1960s while Jackson Green Carter’s roots go back to the 1950s.

The merger has created a number of opportunities to enhance the firm’s proposition to new clients and provide a wider range of services.

Martin Carter, who will join Leonard Gold as a partner, said: ‘The opportunity to join with Leonard Gold is special for us. There are many positive aspects to the merger.’
