Chelsea footballer Willian kitted out with top-range gaming PC by Portsmouth tech firm

Kicking 2020 off to a good start, Chelsea player Willian received more than £4,000 worth of gaming equipment from Novatech Ltd.

Last year, Novatech equipped Chelsea's Portsmouth-born Mason Mount with one of their new Reign Gaming PC’s: the Reign Paladin MKII.

This year Novatech partnered up with NVIDIA to sign on Chelsea midfielder Willian to the Reign Gaming PC club, kitting him out with a Reign Paladin MKII as well.

Novatech staff visited Willian at his home last week, where they hand-delivered him the state-of-the-art gaming PC, featuring the most powerful graphics card on the retail market, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, donated by NVIDIA.

Chris Pomroy, senior regional marketing manager at NVIDIA, said: ‘We loved partnering with Novatech. Their years of experience, expertise and know-how make them an obvious choice for high-profile projects of this nature. As always, they delivered a great product backed with great service.’

Not only did the Novatech staff deliver the equipment to Willian, but they also set it up, as well as calibrating the height of his Nitro Concepts Electric Adjustable Desk and ensuring his chair was correctly and comfortably positioned for hours-long gaming entertainment.

To enable Willian to keep at the top of his game in first-person shooter Counter Strike: Global Offensive, his PC was equipped with the latest 9th Generation Intel Core i9 Processor along with high-performance memory and storage.

Combined with the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, not only would this keep his framerate high enough to ensure that he gets every millisecond he needs to make those vital shots, but it also makes his PC powerful enough to run any of the latest games, as well as those that are yet to come.
