Children's services firm is a top place to work
INVESTMENT and commitment to its staff have seen a children's services provider ranked within the top five companies to work for.
Fair Ways, which is owned by Fair Ways Foundation charity, provides fostering, education and residential services for vulnerable children and young people across the south coast, including Portsmouth.
It employs more than 260 people in the Solent area and was listed in the The Sunday Times Top 100 UK Companies. It was ranked number five in the 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations in the UK.
Mac McHugh, managing director, said: ‘This is a strong indication that we are on the right track – that as a group of workers we are supportive of each other and as an organisation we attempt to invest in, support and develop our staff.
‘I hope everyone is as proud as I am – not only of the award, but to be part of an organisation that is trying to make a difference in the lives of the individuals who access our services, and all the staff who help to deliver them.’
Fair Ways was also awarded a Best Companies 3 Stars logo for the highest level of staff engagement.
