Bishop's Waltham supermarket to offer up to 50 per cent off before being taken over by Sainsbury's
A SUPERMARKET is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent off for the next few days.
Budgens in Winchester Road, Bishop’s Waltham, is due to close and Sainsbury’s will move into the building.

In advance of this, the supermarket is offering items at heavily discounted prices until Wednesday.
On Facebook, the Budgens account wrote: ‘The store will be ceasing trading on Wednesday, September 2. Many items are now reduced to 50 per cent off original price.
‘We would like to thank all our customers for their custom and support over the years.’
Sainsbury’s is due to open its new Neighbourhood Hub store in November after taking over Budgens next week.
Existing staff members at Budgens will have jobs at the new Sainsbury’s store.
The shop will be shut for an estimated 12-weeks to allow for it to be refurbished.
It comes several years after Sainsbury’s previous attempt to open up a supermarket in Bishop’s Waltham.
The plans for a store in Abbey Mill were pulled in 2015 following a six-year battle that divided the town.
TV’s Amanda Holden, who grew up nearby, backed the campaign against the proposed supermarket the time.
