The New Panda was subsequently overhauled and deep cleaned, reopening with a new look, new manager and new name – New Panda.

It closed temporarily in March due to the coronavirus restrictions and said it would not be returning in August.

However, new management reopened the takeaway last month – prompting locals to dub it the ‘New New Panda’. It is now open Wednesday to Monday, closed on Tuesdays.
