Are these Portsmouth's first Christmas lights for 2020?

However, Coca-Cola have also produced a new Christmas advert for 2020 to go along side the annual festive truck.

They enlisted Oscar-winner director Taika Waititi, best known for the films JoJo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok, for the ad.

In the advert, a father attempts to deliver his daughter’s Christmas list to Santa in time for December 25 – travelling over land and sea in his mission.

People have been raving about the advert online.

Popular Twitter account Rex Chapman posted the video, writing: ‘This is the 2020 Coca-Cola Christmas ad. Break out the tissues...’

One person added: ‘So Sweet.'

Another said: ‘The whole time I was like, this is dumb. I’m not gonna cry. Where did he get a motorcycle? Why are the dogs running behind him? And then BAM.’

One person wrote: ‘Oh, that’s a sentimental ad - the parting of dad & the daughter. I’m sure many will be able to relate.’
