Stores, restaurants and pubs at the waterfront shopping centre will be opening up again from April 12, in the latest stage of lockdown easing.

But if you are planning on heading down to Gunwharf Quays in the coming weeks, what can you expect during your visit?

The shopping centre has announced its opening time from tomorrow:

- Monday to Friday, Gunwharf Quays will be open from 10am to 8pm

- Saturday – 9am to 8pm

- Sunday – 10am to 6pm – due to Sunday trading regulations, large stores open 11am to 5pm (open at 10.30am for browsing)

Masks

Visitors to Gunwharf Quays ‘must wear a face covering in shops and the toilets’ and the shopping centre is ‘strongly encouraging the use of face coverings in the rest of the centre too’.

Safety measures

Gunwharf Quays has introduced floor markings, posters and signage to help people maintain social distancing.

There will also be a limit on the number of guests allowed in and there is a one-way system.

Gunwharf Quays will also have a reduced number of car parking spaces to limit the number of customers arriving by cars.

Gunwharf Quays will be open 10am-8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm on Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sundays during school holidays.

A few brands will be opening slightly shorter hours, please check the website for further details.

From April 19, Gunwharf Quays will be open from 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, weekends will remain the same.

Changing rooms

Changing rooms will be closed in line with Government guidance and services offered in stores will be in line with social distancing measures, therefore, services that are unable to comply with the measures will not be available.

Gunwharf Quays says that ladies' and gents facilities will be available adjacent to Boots and behind the Spinnaker Tower.
