Handyman service expands across south coast to cover Portsmouth - and is on the hunt for new franchisees

A HANDYMAN service is expanding its services to cover Portsmouth after seeing a surge in demand.

The Handyman Van has seen bookings rise due to people spending more time at home, leading many to focus on home improvements and repair work to improve their surroundings.

Originally launched in 2017 by Lymington-based entrepreneur Brennan Watt, The Handyman Van offers a one-stop-shop for all property maintenance and improvement services, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry, as well as plastering, painting and decorating, tiling and general handyman support.

The service now covers from Bournemouth to Chichester, and up to Salisbury and Winchester, and will be rolled out nationally in 2021.

It is part of Franchise Brands plc, a multi-brand AIM-listed franchisor with more than 400 franchisees across five market-leading brands.

The business is looking for franchisees.
