The lottery winner said: ‘It’s great to be able to give something back to the store, I’m in here most days picking up something or other, and each time I chuckle at the change in my fortunes thanks to my local shop.

‘It’s been an interesting year since that win. I’ve been able to help my family and friends in little ways, as well as a few bigger ways too!’

Meanwhile, Patrick and Paula Morling, who credited their dog Ollie’s picky eating habits for their win, took their four legged friend along to give Asda’s gold playstation his paw of approval and meet Natasha Ross, the employee who sold Patrick the winning £1m Monopoly Classic Scratchcard.

Mrs Morling said: ‘It’s not every day your husband pops out to buy some dog food and comes back with £1m.

‘I still pinch myself at our good fortune and I really hope that when shoppers see the gold playstation it reminds them that magic can happen, even in your local supermarket!’

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, added: ‘These lucky stores have a lot to celebrate today with Kevin, and Patrick and Paula, not to mention Ollie, returning to mark their life changing wins.

‘The signature gold playstation will be a fantastic talking point to remind customers just how lucky National Lottery players have been. You never know, it might play a role in making another millionaire!’

Gold playstations are awarded by The National Lottery to retailers who have sold a winning ticket of £1 million plus.

They are awarded to all stores where the winner has chosen to take full publicity or share limited details of their win through retailer publicity.
