A BANK branch in Portsmouth's city centre has been closed due to ‘Covid-related reasons’.

HSBC, in Commercial Road, is due to reopen again on Friday, January 29.

A spokesman said: ‘This is a Covid-related closure, we are following all guidelines including abiding by rules on self-isolation, which means the branch is not able to open until Friday, January 29.’

He said that the branch would be disinfected before reopening.

‘All of our branches receive a daily disinfecting clean in both customer and back-office areas as standard,’ he added.
