McDonald's breakfasts return to Portsmouth restaurants - here's what time they start

The fast food giant return to the Portsmouth area last month after shutting down for lockdown.

However there was only a limited menu on offer – and no breakfast options at all.

McDonald’s has announced that from today (July 8) the breakfast menu is returning to more than 1,200 restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

Here is the full list of items that will be available:

- Bacon roll

- Hash brown

- Double sausage and egg McMuffin

- Sausage and egg McMuffin

- Bacon and egg McMuffin

- Double bacon and egg McMuffin

- Egg and cheese McMuffin

- Cheesy bacon flatbread

- Pancakes and syrup

- Pancakes and sausage with syrup

McDonald’s has also announced that it will be extending the opening hours of its restaurants in Portsmouth.

The sites had initially only been open from 11am to 10pm – but will now open at 7am.

Before lockdown, McDonald’s served breakfast items until 11am.

McDonald’s is also adding a further eight items to the limited main menu.

This includes:

- Shakes

- Mayo chicken

- Bacon mayo chicken

- Hot chocolate

- Happy meal organic milk

- Bacon double cheeseburger
