New look for Whiteley Tesco as its refurbishment is complete
Harry Mooney, one of the managers in charge of the refit, joined store manager Andy Grainger for the ribbon-cutting this morning.
Both managers welcomed people to see the improvements, including a new area for the F&F clothing range.

Hide AdThe work in recent months marks the store’s first major refurbishment in the past 20-odd years.
The store was one of the first built in the new town of Whiteley.
Andy said: ‘It’s wonderful to finally be officially open and to show people the extent of our refurbishment.
‘We have managed to keep the store open to customers in the past couple of months by just sectioning off the different areas while they were improved.

‘We always like to support the community where we can, and we’re grateful to local company Neon and Blush for the balloons on our special day.’
The superstore employs 140 people, with many of them having worked there between 10 and 20 years.
