North End cake shop is reopening for delivery

Egg-Free Cake Box, in London Road, North End closed its doors at the end of March after government guidelines advised non-essential shops close.

But now, manager Tham Gurung has reopened the doors, offering a delivery service through UberEats from Wednesday, May 6.

The shop’s large selection of cakes will be available to buy every day from midday until 4pm.

The shop specialises in cream cakes made without eggs and sells a selection of birthday cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes and sundaes, as well as cake decorations such as candles and toppers.

Cake lovers can order full-sized cakes, sized from 6in upwards, or order single slices or cups filled with cake.
