Now, she is one of three new board members at the East Street arts centre, and will be developing an exciting programme of events for all ages in the community.

Francesca said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining the board at The Spring.

‘I look forward to supporting them in their vision and helping them to grow audiences when the doors are able to open again.’

She will be joined at The Spring by Tom Spurgin, a specialist in community engagement, and artistic director Sarah Shepherd.

Tom, from Portsmouth, has previously worked with prestigious organisations including the Philharmonia Orchestra and aims to attract wider audiences to the arts and ensure that the work produced is diverse and representative of the local community.

Sarah, who lives in Gosport, has produced numerous award-winning shows for children and families. Her insight and expertise will allow the team at The Spring to create an inclusive programme that will introduce children to the benefits of the arts.
