Popular Southsea wine bar Rosie's announces closure on Facebook

A POPULAR wine bar and restaurant in Southsea has announced that it will not be reopening.

Rosie’s Vineyard in Elm Grove, Southsea, closed when restrictions were brought in preventing trading in March.

However, a recent post on its Facebook page said: ‘It is with a heavy heart that we are sad to announce we will not be re-opening Rosie’s.

‘It has been an honour to be part of Rosie’s journey for the last 10 years. We would like to thank all the amazing staff, customers and musicians that have supported us.

‘We wish the new tenants all the best for the future and hope they have as many happy memories as us.

‘If you had a booking with us, you should have already been contacted, if you have been missed we are incredibly sorry, please send us an email by September 1. Our thoughts go out to all local independent businesses during these challenging times.’
