PTSD therapist from Titchfield swaps clinic for computer
Deborah Baxter, who runs The Spirit Within Therapy, previously ran her business from her home in Titchfield.
At the start of lockdown she moved her therapy sessions on to Zoom, with plans to return to physical meetings when she could.

Hide AdBut the 60-year-old found there were benefits to running a virtual business. She closed her clinic and invested in a high-quality camera and lighting to run sessions from her computer.
Deborah said: ‘I planned to return to normal after the pandemic, but with Zoom it was just so much more economical to continue doing things virtually.
‘I see people from across the world - the furthest being South Africa - and can fit more people into one day, essentially meaning I can help more people.’
She found that people were more comfortable speaking about personal issues online.

Hide AdShe said: ‘I find people are opening up more because they’re t alking from the comfort of their own homes and are already more relaxed in their own space.
‘It also cuts out the travelling time, costs and waiting times, making it even more efficient and economical.’
She offers one-to-one therapy sessions for people suffering with trauma or mental health problems.
