Portsmouth Aldi reopens after revamp - look inside

An Aldi store in Portsmouth has reopened after undergoing a revamp.

The discount supermarket in Gamble Road, Buckland, welcomed customers back on Thursday after closing its doors on December 31.

Improvements include wider aisles, increased space dedicated to fresh British meat and fish, as well as Lacura health and beauty products, beers, wines and spirits, Mamia babycare products, and a Food to Go section, offering a choice of fresh salads, sandwiches and sushi.

The refurbishment also created eight additional new jobs.
