Wetherspoon pubs across Portsmouth launch new breakfast muffin range and 99p coffee

PUBS part of the Wetherspoon chain are launching new items to help put a spring in people's step in the morning.

Eleven Wetherspoon pubs in and around Portsmouth are now serving a breakfast muffin range and have also reduced the price of coffee and tea to 99p.

Customers can choose from four new breakfast muffins - egg and bacon muffin, egg and sausage muffin, breakfast muffin with both bacon and Lincolnshire sausage, as well as egg and cheese muffin.

The new items can be found at The John Jacques in Fratton Road, The Lord Palmerston in Palmerston Road, and The Sir John Baker in London Road, as well at The Isambard Kingdom Brunel in Guildhall Walk.

The Isambard Kingdom Brunel manager Tez Merry said: ‘We are continually striving to provide our customers with great quality, choice and value and this new breakfast muffin range adds to our already-huge range of breakfast menu choices.

‘Together with our exceptional value coffee and tea, at just 99p, our breakfast offering just got even better.’

Cosham pub The First Post and Port Solent boozer the Sir Alex Rose are both offering the deals, as are The Parchment Makers in Park Road North, Havant, and The Denmead Queen in London Road, Waterlooville.

In Fareham, The Lord Arthur Lee and The Crown Inn, both in West Street, are taking part. In Gosport, The Star is part of the offer.

All options are served with a free range, RSPCA assured fried egg.

Wetherspoon’s breakfast menu is served until 11.30am every day.
