Decade of hard work sees Gosport pair win awards

TWO staff members from a Gosport recruitment agency have been recognised for a decade of hard work.

Helen Clark and Lisa Gregory picked up outstanding achievement awards at the event held by Berry Recruitment Group.

The whole company got together at the annual ceremony, which this year was held at Madame Tussauds in London.

The award scheme recognises talent from across the group’s 32 branches and more than 200 staff.

Helen and Lisa, both from Fareham, are part of the Gosport branch of Berry Recruitment.

They were presented with their awards by BRG chairman Tony Berry who congratulated them.

He said: ‘Lisa and Helen’s hard work has resulted in great achievement which we identified as requiring recognition.’

The pair have job-shared at the office in Quay West Business Centre, Quay Lane, for 10 years.

Lisa, 35, said: ‘It was very good, and it was nice to be recognised. It was lots of fun and it was a really good night.’

Lisa and Helen, 46, enjoyed the ceremony, which attracted more than 160 guests.

The night also saw Wild Recruitment, in Arundel Street, Portsmouth, which was bought by Berry in September 2011, win two of the most prestigious awards.

It won the ‘Most Profitable Branch’ category and the ‘Top Biller’ award went to Justine Duffin for the third year in a row.

Managing director Chris Chown spoke on the night of the company’s success.

He said the group is on target to reach a turnover in excess of £70m this year, following its recent acquisition of Amanda Smith Recruitment.

He said: ‘The group continues to go from strength to strength and the 2015 performance was the strongest to date.

‘We are now anticipating turnover of more than £70m this year with increased profits as well.’
