Deliveroo is delivering emergency Easter Eggs just in time for the weekend

A DELIVERY service has teamed up with the Easter bunny to make sure that chocolate eggs can still arrive despite the lockdown.

Portsmouth and the rest of the country has been locked down for over two weeks and it can be hard to keep track of exactly what day it is anymore.

For everyone who hasn’t yet clocked that this weekend is Easter, fear not, Deliveroo is on hand with a little help from a certain bouncy, bushy tailed, carrot loving friend.

Those looking for a chocolatey treat this weekend can check out a huge range of Easter Eggs from Co-Op and BP M&S stores on Deliveroo which can be delivered in as little as under 30 minutes.

Last month Deliveroo announced a new partnership with BP and Marks & Spencer to deliver a select range of products in stock at 199 BP operated stores across the UK within relevant delivery ranges.

The product range now includes Easter Eggs in stock for this weekend’s festivities including Thorntons Continental Egg, Cadbury Crunchie and M&S Storm Trooper Easter Egg.

The Co-op also has over 347 stores now available on Deliveroo with each location offering different egg options for Brits including family-favourites from Maltesers, Cadbury Creme Egg, Kit Kat and Mars.
