Design and printing firm showcases new product showroom in Farlington

A SPECIALIST design firm has launched its new product showroom.

A3M Designs, a specialist large-format printer and supplier of visual marketing equipment in Farlington, has held the grand opening for its new product showroom.

The new room will showcase the firm’s range of signage and exhibition stands.

The business has been running - with clients such as Airbus and BAE - for over 33 years.

It is now under new management, with director Chris Windust, who took over in May 2019, looking to make waves in the industry.

He said: ‘The industry is worth £54bn so we’re tapping into that.

‘It’s a pretty exciting industry. I have worked with other businesses and the products aren’t that exciting, but this really is.’

The team can design and print products to a large scale and can print on almost any material except for mirrors.

They produce a range of products, including stickers, PVC signs, posters and flags.

They have released a lightweight range of portable banner and poster stands that are designed to allow businesses who are exhibiting their work to construct and dismantle the stands with little-to-no help.

They also completely design stands for exhibition and trade shows

Chris said: ‘We like to think we do things differently. There are a lot of businesses out there that offer a one-flavour selection, which is the opposite to what we do. We don’t want to just sell to people, we want to sell them something that works. We look into what the customer wants and expects, not just what we can sell.’

They are planning to grow in the next year, with plans including an apprenticeship scheme and hiring more staff.

As part of Chris’ takeover, the company also underwent a rebrand, which saw them get a new up-to-date logo.

He said: ‘It’s been 12 years since the last review of the A3M brand so a redesign, bringing our look and feel up to date, was very overdue.’
