Developer's bid for new boundary wall around Southsea flats to be decided tomorrow

A ROW over a developer's bid to build a wall around land in Southsea where it wants to build retirement flats could finally be resolved tomorrow.

McCarthy & Stone will go before the council’s planning committee in the hope it can reach an agreement with residents and win permission to build a new boundary wall.

Residents are furious the firm pulled down the one that previously existed there without their permission, which they say was needed as they own the land. The public meeting in Portsmouth Guildhall starts at 1pm.
