Employee Ownership Day marked at Petersfield firm

A CELEBRATION of the benefits of employee ownership was held yesterday at a technology firm.

Insync Technology marked National Employee Ownership Day, which was launched by the Employee Ownership Association in 2013, by inviting dignitaries and students from The Petersfield School to have a look around its Petersfield base.

The company, which provides product design and manufacturing services to broadcast and related markets, has been employee-owned since 2013.

Barry Flanaghan, the company’s founder, said: ‘It is a good model and it has worked for us. There have been no down sides so far and I hope we will continue to succeed.’

Damian Hinds, the Conservative MP for East Hampshire, said: ‘Insync ticks just about every box of the sort of company that this government wants to encourage. It is hi-tech and has great employee benefits, with a great export record and great further export potential.’
