Event will give scam advice

More than 150 people are expected to attend The Financial Scam Smart Day, being run by Southsea business Paul Murray Investments.

It will be held at the Marriott Hotel in North Harbour, Portsmouth, from 11am until 4pm on Friday, November 30.

The day will involve speakers and exhibits from professional service providers. 

Lisa Murray, from Paul Murray Investments, said: '˜I can only imagine how distressing it is when you have trusted a person or company to provide a service for you only to find out that you have been scammed. At Paul Murray Investments we serve the community with integrity and professionalism, however we cannot protect them from the endless acts of ever-growing scams. We feel obliged to provide this event and raise much needed awareness.'
