Marina Fitness has faced several challenges over the last six months, including confusion over changes to lockdown rules.

Katie added: ‘It’s been a struggle for all of our members. We have been trying to support them but not knowing when we’ll be able to open has been hard.

‘There’s been times we didn’t think we’d re-open, the constant stop, start nature of lockdown impacted our business tremendously.

‘However, we made a decision in early November to commit to Marina Fitness and make notable changes to enhance the gym experience for everyone.’

Due to the uncertain time between lockdown two and three, Marina Fitness faced frustration from some members as news of the reopening was delayed.

James said: ‘With the government rules changing it was difficult for us to understand when we could open, when we couldn’t open, how many members were allowed in.’

However, the gym has overcome the odds and is the team is excited to welcome back members.

Katie added: ‘Our gym is different from anything around, the location, look and feel of the place make us stand out.
