December 2025 marked the beginning of a new evolution for Hampshire Flag Company (HFC). As their business continues to grow, they will open a new factory – next door to their current premises in Waterlooville – providing an extra 5,500 square feet of space.

HFC has been helping local and national organisations shine with bespoke flags and promotional materials for over 40 years. Over this time, they have built an enviable reputation for high quality, cost-effective, durable materials that corporate businesses, charities and general consumers alike trust time and time again.

For many clients, they are not simply a service provider – they are a long-term partner.

HFC’s current factory features a wide selection of large-scale, industry-leading print machinery, as well as its very own creative department, 30 sewing machines (and the skilled machinists to go with them!), and a range of office facilities. With the new space, HFC intends to not only expand these facilities, but to focus more deeply on the signage and exhibitions sector, ensuring they have the best machinery on the market to meet increased demand here.

Conferences and exhibitions present some of the most pivotal touchpoints for businesses, putting a spotlight on them for hundreds or thousands of prospective clients to see. The image they portray is crucial, and many will scrutinise design and print suppliers closely to ensure they secure the best quality display possible.

Like signage, it requires a very high specification and immense attention to detail, and with HFC’s upcoming investment plans, they will be able to increase their capacity for this work without compromising on quality. Plus, HFC’s creative team will be able to work even closer with clients on finessing the look of these materials – not just the finish.

Rod Sessions, Commercial Director at HFC, has seen plenty of change over his nine years at the business, but for him, this is one of the most exciting developments so far: “For many companies, the lead up to Christmas brings a reminder to wind down – but for us, it’s time to scale up.

"There’s a real sense of excitement, and it’s testament to our team’s continued hard work. We’re a tight-knit company, and we all know how monumental this factory will be in making our long-term expansion visions a reality. I’m delighted to have the keys and can’t wait to show our clients what more we can offer in 2026!”

With the keys now firmly secured, the HFC team are raring to go. They plan to install a selection of new machinery, create new storage solutions and build a showroom demonstrating their varied work. In addition, they will ensure everyone has easy access between the two units, so nobody is siloed and the ‘one HFC’ feeling remains.

This change is not only a key marker for success and excitement at HFC – it also signifies the beginning of some very big plans for 2026 and beyond.
