The examination by UKAS scrutinised Tate's offsite and in-house reporting to identify gaps in document trailing, assessing the need for staff training and implementing quality management methods.

Luke Clark, service manager at Tate, said: '˜I understand the difference it makes to safeguard all parties when embarking on large installation and maintenance projects. Tate are very professional and now have the paperwork to prove testing, inspection and calibration services match governing body standards.'

Tate technicians cover central London and the south east and bring temperature control systems to major buildings like airports, hospitals and railway networks
