Historic pub opens again

A HISTORIC Portsmouth pub has reopened.

The Lady Hamilton at The Hard, Portsea, reopened on Thursday after it was closed for nearly three years.

The 19th century premises was once known as the Nag’s Head and owned by the Pike Brewery. It was then turned into a wine merchants by 1920 and later transformed into a bookshop, before it reopened as a pub in 1991 before closing in 2014.

The pub is now open from 10am daily.
