Home care company receives recognition

A HOME care provider is celebrating after it was awards a Queen's Award for Enterprise.

Home Instead Senior Care, which has offices in Chichester, Fareham and Havant, was awarded given the accolade yesterday on the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The company has been granted the award, the UK’s highest accolade for business success, for the innovation its service has brought to the home care sector.

Home Instead started in 2005 specialising in the care of older adults.

Trevor Brocklebank, chief executive, said: ‘We are honoured to receive this prestigious business accolade.

‘Together we provide five million hours of relationship-led homecare each year. We couldn’t do this without our dedicated army of care givers on the ground. This award pays testimony to their devotion to our mission to change the face of ageing in the UK.’

Home Instead is one of 243 companies to receive an award this year. Only 92 innovation awards were made this year.
